Post and follow
Share text, photos and video, follow the people you care about, and reply in the open.
Conversations that carry more than text, and a plain answer about how they are protected.
A conversation can be between two people or a group. It is the same surface either way, so nothing has to be re-learned when a thread grows.
Photos, video, voice notes and files, alongside text. A voice note is recorded in the conversation rather than attached to it.
Read receipts tell you when a message was read, and typing indicators show when the other person is composing one.
You can edit a message after sending it, and you can delete one.
PulseSoc messages are not end-to-end encrypted. They are encrypted in transit, which means the connection between your phone and our servers is protected by TLS in the same way a banking website is. It does not mean we are unable to read them.
Messages are stored on our servers in a form we can access — which is what makes it possible to act on a report, restore an account, or answer a lawful request. If you need a conversation that the operator of the service mathematically cannot read, PulseSoc is not the right tool for it, and we would rather say so on this page than in a support ticket.
Direct messages is part of PulseSoc for iPhone. Free to download, iOS 15.1 or later.
